Residential Training 

Send your dog to boarding school! We welcome a small number of dogs at a time to come and stay with us, for a minimum period of 2 weeks, for sheepdog training. Dogs at all stages and levels of training are welcome; from young dogs that need starting on sheep, to trial dogs that just need polishing, or work dogs that you would like to learn new skills such as shedding and turning back. Between us we have a large amount of experience working with different dogs, of different capabilities, in a wide range of environments and situations. 

Training is tailored to suit each individual dog, we do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach as all dogs are individuals' with different responses to sheep, humans and training techniques. We also take the time to get to know you, and what you want and need from your dog in the future. This allows us to focus training on the points you will find most useful. 

Whilst your dog is with us we will keep in contact with you, sending updates and videos to let you know how your dog is getting on. We will also be honest with you in letting you know what we believe your dogs probable potential and limitations are. All dogs have varying capabilities and methods when it comes to working, some will be superstars, some will not, but nearly all dogs can become useful work dogs to some extent with the right training and support.

Your dog will be housed in our comfy and secure kennel block, walked and fed twice daily.
